“I transitioned to a plant based lifestyle in September 2018, purely for healthy reasons originally. But now, after educating myself so much about the meat, dairy and leather industries, I could never go back to my old ways. Veganism is definitely the way forward, more people just need educating in the reasons why it is!” – @plantbasedellie_uk

Bacon and Sausage breakfast

A cooked breakfast is a go-to of ours at the weekend when we have a bit more time on our hands! We always include tofu scramble, because it’s so easy to pack it full of flavour with spices, or add veggies for extra bite and goodness!
Ingredients for tofu scramble:
280g firm tofu, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion power, salt and pepper to taste and any veggies you like, but onion, pepper, spinach always work well.
“This serves 2 hungry people as part of a hearty weekend brunch! We’ve both absolutely loved being vegan, and one of the biggest things we’ve noticed is that it’s given us a new found love of food and cooking. Our favourite thing to do now is try new recipes every week, having gotten stuck in familiar patterns before we made the switch. Vegan versions of products people are familiar with play such a key role in this, which is why companies like V Bites are so important as we shift toward a vegan world.” – @realisticallyvegan_
