Founded in 1993 (as the Redwood Wholefood Company) VBites is the brainchild of campaigner Heather Mills and has grown to become the largest plant-based food manufactures in Europe. “I switched to a 100% vegan diet after my accident. I then discovered Redwood and loved their ethical approach so decided to buy shares.”
“Although a practicing vegan for many years I realised that I missed the taste of burgers, pizzas and sausages and wished I could still have them. So decided to begin developing and perfecting plant-based alternatives and VBites was born. We now have over 140 products and I’m so proud of what we have achieved.”

I’m so proud of what we have achieved at VBites. I’ve always been in love with food – it’s such a huge pleasure in my life. Since removing meat and dairy from my diet I can honestly say I have never felt better. My energy levels have soared and my eyes have brightened and my skin, hair and nails have all improved.
