Following a total refurbishment of the old premises earlier this year, VBites launched on Saturday 4th July to a crowd of hungry locals, all eager to see the innovative new vegan community café / restaurant at Hove Lagoon owned by Heather Mills. And they weren’t disappointed – VBites has been adapted to suit everyone from young to mature, families on a day out looking for a delicious meal, to those popping in for a coffee & cake or an evening of relaxation: a place to hang out with a superb 21st century feel.

The facilities at the café are first class & the staff will give you 100% service.
It features a fabulous dining area where you can relax & dine while watching black and white movies played on a projector. Or you can sit & unwind at the fibre optic bar listening to cool music & access the free Internet service.

For parents with young children, Vbites offers a crèche with cartoons being shown & wide access facilities for wheelchairs, pushchairs & baby changing facilities. Vbites also invite friendly, well behaved dogs.

And let us not forget the island dining, enjoy your delicious Fair-Trade Tea or Coffee while choosing your favourite cake being transported round on the futuristic travelator. Decide over a selection of gorgeous muffins, chocolate cake, cheesecake, red-velvet cake. The list is endless.
Additionally Vbites has an outside seating area, where you can enjoy your meal facing Hove Lagoon, the beach & a children’s park, or you can just take-away. Wrap up warm, let Vbites refresh you & enjoy the pleasure of outdoors.

VBites offers a balanced menu of unique meatless meats and vegan treats with a gastronomic feast of dishes inspired by every corner of the globe that Heather has travelled to.
VBites Head-Chef has worked closely with Heather to master her recipes to produce a fabulous winter menu. There is a varied selection of dishes including to name but a few Chilli Non Carne, Lemon Grass Curry, Traditional Christmas Dinner, Mammoth Burger’s with oven baked chips, a wide selection of build your own salads , mezze & sandwiches, such as your classic BLT . And to finish off, why not tantalise yourself with scrummy good old English desserts like apple crumble & Christmas Pudding.

To keep the kids happy, there is also a yummy children’s menu with a wide range of choices to satisfy even the fussiest of eaters. The little ones can choose from a varied selection including ‘Fishy Fingers’ or ‘Chikky Nuggets' served with chips and a choice of peas or baked beans (all of the chips served at VBites are oven baked), Spaghetti Bolognaise, as well as a selection of vegetables of the day and fresh veggie soups.
