Ingredients

  • 25g finely diced carrots
  • 25g finely diced onion
  • Finger nail sized portion of ginger and garlic minced.
  • ½ tsp garam marsala

Method

  1. Saute above then add garam marsala and salt.
  2. Add the rice, sauté for a few minutes.
  3. Add enough water to cover the rice.
  4. Put on stove and bring to boil.
  5. Cover and turn down to low heat, until cooked.
  6. Then put it to the side for a couple of mins, then fluff with fork
