This recipe makes (4-5 portions).
Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic
- Sprig of flat leaf parsley
- 50g leek
- 50g onion
- 50g carrot
- 50g celery
- 50g mushrooms
- Sprig of thyme
- 2 pints of stock
- 500g of main vegetable ingredient (kitchens choice)
- Extra 50g of main ingredient
Method
- Saute above for 5 – 6 minutes.
- Add 2 tbls stock to 2 pints of liquid.
- Add main vegetable simmer until cooked.
- Liquidize.
- Pass through sieve.
- Put back on the stove chop and add 50g of main ingredient.
- Bring back to boil to cook off.
