Haiti Appeal

VBites vegan cafe has opened its doors as a donation point to help the survivors of the recent devastating Haiti earthquake.

We are appealing to the community of Brighton & Hove to bring down to the Cafe any unwanted:
  • Prosthetic Limbs
  • Wheelchairs
  • Crutches
  • Walking aids
  • Any items that will help
  •

Cafe owner and fellow amputee, Heather Mills, immediately began working with medical aid charity, Physicians for Peace, after the disaster happened.

Physicians for Peace founded in 1989, are dedicated to the ideal that health care in the developing world can best be improved by providing training and education to health care professionals in those countries.

Being an amputee herself, Heather is keen to help improve the quality of treatment and care for the recent victims.

Heather has appeared on GMTV and CNN with Larry King to promote the appeal.

    She says,
"If there is any thing you can do to help support the people of Haiti please get in touch, they need your support"

If you have any donations you can make please bring what you can along to VBites at Hove Lagoon.

Thank you kindly for your support.
